The Respiratory Care Practitioner will perform respiratory procedures and related duties ordered by the physician and within the scope of the Respiratory Care Practitioner license.  The therapist will consult with the physician’s in matters of proper therapy for desired effect. The Respiratory Care Practitioners will consult with other members of the heath care team in the management of difficult patients, as well as act as a troubleshooter in the daily operations.


  • High school graduate or GED equivalent required.
  • Associate Degree preferred
  • Graduate of NBRC accredited Respiratory Care program.
  • Current California Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
  • Maintains National Board of Respiratory Care credentials (CRT) or Maintains National Board of Respiratory Care credentials (RRT)
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification
  • PALS certification
  • NRP certification
