Responsibilities

A Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care through the nursing process within the scope of the California Nursing Practice Act.  Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. 

 

Qualifications

Successful candidate must have:

  • Be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Possess a current CPR Certification.
  • Be a currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
  • Possess excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Have experience in caring for patients in all age groups.
  • Possess excellent critical thinking skills that can be used to intervene or use protocols as appropriate.
  • Have the ability to communicate in the English language.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, additional languages preferred.
  • Have experience working in a team atmosphere.
  • Be professional, well-spoken and outgoing.
  • Possess strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Be comfortable working with all levels of personnel.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team, and to hold self-accountable and stay on task with minimal supervision.
  • Be reliable and dependable.
