Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible for carrying out treatment plan as designed by physical therapist.  Communicating changes in patient’s patient status to physical therapist.  Maintaining equipment and inventory.  Assisting with clerical duties as needed. Assist in staff education throughout the hospital.

 

 

Qualifications

Successful candidate must:

  • Have high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess current California license for Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Possess current CPR card.
  • On-the-job experience preferred. 
  • Be customer service focused. 
  • Be professional, well-spoken and outgoing.
  • Possess strong communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Comfortable working with all levels of personnel.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, and to hold self-accountable and stay on task with minimal supervision.
  • Be reliable and dependable.
