Responsibilities

Position:

 

 

The Radiologic Technologist must have a working knowledge of all-routine radiographic procedures, bedside portable procedures, portable and fixed image intensifier procedures, special procedures, and must possess competency in the use of teleradiology, CR/DR and PACS systems.  The Radiologic Tech will work under the general direction/supervision of the Director of Medical Imaging (or designee) and perform to the satisfaction of the radiologist.

 

 

Qualifications

Successful candidate must have:

  • High school graduate or GED equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of an accredited training program (approved by JRCERT) in Radiologic Technology.
  • Associate of Science Degree preferred but not mandatory
  • One (1) to three (3) year’s experience preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Must hold a valid California State Certificate in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT).
  • Must have or obtain California Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy permit.
  • Preferably registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) R.T.
  • Current CPR card.
